Learning Developed with Practitioners
Practical professional learning designed to strengthen the skills, knowledge and confidence of people working across employment services.
IEP draws on international expertise in employability learning and works with partners and practitioners to ensure our learning reflects the needs of the countries and communities in which it is delivered. In Canada, we are developing learning that combines proven approaches with local insight, helping practitioners build their professional capability and apply their learning confidently in their day-to-day roles.
IEP Award in Employability Essentials
Building the foundations of excellent employability practice
Employability Essentials provides practitioners with the core knowledge, skills and understanding needed to support people effectively on their journey towards sustainable employment.
The learning has been adapted for the Canadian employment services context with input from frontline practitioners and includes Canadian resources, terminology and real-world examples.
It is also available in Canadian French, supporting greater accessibility for practitioners across Canada.
Developed with Canadian practitioners
Employability Essentials was developed and refined through a pilot with Fedcap Canada, giving frontline employment services practitioners the opportunity to test the learning and directly influence its development.
